Pretty Flamingo

Granny B's Old-Fashioned Paint is a popular South African water-based, chalk-finish decorative paint. Known for its eco-friendly, low-odor, and lead-free formula, it is designed for DIY furniture flipping, crafts, and home decor without requiring heavy surface preparation.

Key Features

• No Prep Needed: Excellent adhesion means little to no sanding or priming is required on most surfaces.
• Versatile Surfaces: Bonds well to wood, metal, glass, plastics, ceramics, enamel, melamine, canvas, and even fabric.
• Safe Formula: Water-based, gentle on skin, low-VOC, and safe for family environments.
• Finish & Colours: Dries to a velvety, matte chalky finish available in dozens of vintage-inspired shades, metallics, and liquid metals.

Application and Care

• Thinning & Thickening: Can be diluted with water for washes or left open slightly to thicken for impasto textures.
• Sealing: Because the dry chalk finish is porous, high-traffic items like dining tables should be sealed with Granny B's Old Fashioned Paint finishing waxes, specialized sealers (like Amour), or glazes.
• Clean-up: Equipment washes clean easily using warm soapy water
